Household cabinet lock password locks

With a teenager in the house and his teenage friends coming and going, the liquor started depleting faster than my wife or I am consuming it, so it came time to secure the liquor cabinet. These seem to be about what I needed to do the trick. I don't love having locks on the cabinet, and they're not the most attractive things ever, but they do blend in a little bit better in real life than they do the pictures. They're sturdy enough to be a deterrent. As with most things, if someone is really desperate to get in the cabinet, they'd find a way, but not without damaging the cabinet. Combination mechanism is easy enough to reset, and appears to be solid enough to withstand regular use.Install is pretty simple. It took less than five minutes each. A drilling template would be a nice addition, but if you're reasonably competent with simple hand-tools, it shouldn't be a big problem. Luckily, the cabinet isn't an antique or an heirloom or anything, so I wasn't too worried about putting holes in it. I'll just replace it in a few years when I don't have teenagers around anymore.

So easy to install and more than did the job we needed them too.

The main problem I had with this lock is that the two sides do not sit flush. Due to this design, I had to make a 1/8th inch thick shim to put under the lock side. It should be noted that I used this to lock an outdoor shed, which was not the designed purpose. Because of this, I also used much longer screws than came in the set.The lock and latch came with clear instructions for mounting and changing the combination.

I bought 4 of these and they all worked out great! Easy to use, easy to reset if needed, but secure from tiny hands manipulation.

A closet in our RV kept popping open while traveling. We’ve tried magnetic closures, baby proof straps, and different latches but nothing would hold. This product stays securely in place and a bonus feature is the combination to keep electronics secured when we are away from our RV.

Quality made speciality lock

This was what I had been looking for. I needed to secure a wooden gate and didn't want to put a regular hasp and padlock on it. This was as easy to install as a hasp, with the benefit of a resettable combination lock built in. The lock functions smoothly so far. I will note that it offers basic security and could likely be overpowered by a strong person quite easily. In my application the gate is in view of the neighbors, so hopefully the sight of the lock will discourage casual opportunist thieves.

The lock arrived very quick. Easy combination set. The silver color appears plated. Hope it last.

Well, not bad just not good in my opinion. The metal is not thin but not thick for the hasp, and the locking mechanism itself has quite a bit of play (movement) side to side when locked. Probably best for a visual deterrent although certainly they do lock, I'd think a strike of a hammer or good lever by screw driver shaft would pull off the locking part. I did't try either so take that opinion with a grain of salt... This locking hasp could have it's place for minimal security.

Thes work great. I wanted to lock the electrical panel in my rental apartment.
